Hastings Farmers MarketThe Farmers Market is held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month, 9am-3pm in Roberston Street January February March 1st - 31st March : Hastings Musical FestivalThe festival has many competitions including singing, instrumentation, speech, drama, mime and dance. Times vary, but please contact the White Rock Theatre, White Rock for up to date details. April 6th April : Hastings Beatles DayA tribute to one of Britain's most famous bands including tribute acts and local musicians. May 3rd - 5th May: Jack in the Green FestivalThis traditional May Bank Holiday event will have teams from all over Europe Morris Dancing and the crowning of the May Queen. July 3rd - 5th July : Hastings Beer and Music FestivalPlease note these dates are provisional August 2nd - 10th August : Hastings Old Town Carnival WeekThis traditional Carnival will have many events taking place throughout the week including a welly boot race, belly dancing, a pram race and numerous craft, social and history events. September 21st - 22nd September : Hastings Seafood and Wine FestivalThe festival takes place in Queens Square, Hastings from 11.00. Please call 0845 274 1001 for more information. 27the September : Hastings Gun Carriage TournamentThis event in The Oval, Bohemia Road, offers the chance for all to try and race with a model gun carriage. October 14th October : Hastings DayThis is the day when King Harold lost the Battle of Hastings. It begins a week of entertainment and discussions throughout the town.
