This Quadrangular Castle was built in 1385. First thought to be developed to protect from French Invasion, it is now thought that it was purely for show.
The Royal Pavillion was built for the Prince Regent in the early 19th Century to act as his seaside retreat.
Beachy Head is home to the tallest Chalk cliff in Britain, standing at 530ft above sea level. The site also benefits from it's famous lighthouse, which has been protecting ships from the headland since 1831.
